Case 229: Infective Endocarditis and Vegetations

Wish you a happy new year and a great 2026.

59-years old presented with fever and echo done 25 days prior showed vegetations on the posterior mitral valve leaflet.

CMR was done to check for any other abnormality or finding, of which there was none.

It did however show vegetations on the P2 mitral valve leaflet.

The video discusses the role of CMR in infective endocarditis and a small note about how to pick up vegetations better.
